Provision House was established in 2009 though a significant and strategic donation from a donor partner who wishes to remain anonymous.

The vision for Provision House is to have a private home environment to achieve the following goals:

1.    Space to accommodate the social workers and core team of Acres of Love.
2.    To host corporate partners and international guests and showcase our model program and engage in vision casting sessions.
3.    Hosting our donor partners and facilitating the relationships between our partners and the children and house parents in our Forever Homes.
4.    Retreat for our infants and children to enjoy the amenities offered at the Provision House.
5.    A connection to purpose and destiny and inspiration in a pristine environment.
6.    A permanent base to record the dreams and progress of each child entrusted into our care.

The property is highly functional and in constant use on a daily basis. Here is a synopsis of some of the function and services planned and executed at Provision House:

Administrative and Event Functions:

All organization administration and property maintenance is coordinated at Provision House:-

•    transportation for school, extra-curricular activities,
•    medical care, therapies and general recreation is facilitated
•    Team Management Meetings are held frequently in the large ‘African’ board room.
•    Reception and orientation of visitors is performed as well as event hosting for check handovers.

Social Services:

Our on-staff Social Workers have a secure office space allowing them to complete screenings, assessments and manage the admission and intake of vulnerable children.

Training:

•    HIV/Aids Education
•    Staff/House Parent and Volunteer Training.
•    First Aid
•    Kid Power

Retreats:

Our Forever Families have the option to come to Provision House for weekend retreats; giving the children opportunities to swim and play tennis and enjoy other outdoor activities in the gardens.
